The Hammerdown Cross Fit team put “the hammer down” on the competition at the Town of Herndon Turkey Trot Cross Country running race. This training group, lead by Todd Katz, turned out in force at yesterday’s Annual Herndon Turkey Trot (see yesterday’s post with photo of team member Cindi Revesman). The Hammer Down CrossFit group put on an impressive display of power and speed with runners of all shapes, sizes and sexes.

I have previously posted about this group, which now has a dedicated facility in Chantilly Virginia (14088-G Sullyfield Circle, Chantilly, VA 20151). Their training program involves quantifiable exercise protocols. Todd Katz says that he can measure each participant’s work output. Time, distance weights are all carefully followed so that dramatic improvements in strength, stamina and speed can be tracked. For more information, contact Coach Todd Katz via e-mail.
